Five weeks out of the year are devoted to our Fishing Camps, February, June, and August. One of the core concepts at TBC Guides is instruction. When it comes to teaching fundamental skills to young anglers, it is so much more than just fishing. We cover water/ice safety, fishing etiquette, technique, regulations, and taking care of our fisheries. Each day we meet at a different fishing location, whether it is on the ice or on the boat.Registration is now open 2026 Sleep-away Fishing Camp.Drop off - Sunday August 9th, anytime after 3pm.Pickup - Saturday August 15th, anytime after 10am.Five days of fishing, with full instruction on various techniques. We will primarily be targeting big bass, with an introduction to tournament fishing, also a day or two of jigging for lake trout and crappie, and if conditions allow we will build in a day of fly fishing for trout and smallmouth.During our evening downtime we will be making some of our own lures, as well as custom fishing rods that will go home with each angler. One of our main evening highlights will be Dinner with a Game Warden, where the kids may get quizzed on some of the rules and regulations they have learned during their stay. Our home for the week will be at Cardigan Mountain School in Canaan, NH. We will be staying in the school dorms, having breakfast and dinner in their dining hall, and our lunches will be packed to go each day. There will be in house nightime staff, on call nurse, and dedicated transportation to and from our daily fishing locations. Each instructor has a different fishing specialty, each also holds boating safety and operation licenses, as well as first aid and cpr certifications. Please contact for more details and registration information.
