Five weeks out of the year are devoted to our Fishing Camps, February, June, and August.One of the core concepts at TBC Guides is instruction. When it comes to teaching fundamental skills to young anglers, it is so much more than just fishing.We cover water/ice safety, fishing etiquette, technique, regulations, and taking care of our fisheries.Each day we meet at a different fishing location, whether it is on the ice or on the boat.Registration is now open. 2026 Sleep-away Fishing Camp.Drop off - Sunday August 9th, anytime after 3pm.Pickup - Saturday August 15th, anytime after 10am.Five days of fishing with full instruction on various techniques.Primary target is big bass, with an introduction to tournament fishing.Includes a day or two of jigging for lake trout and crappie.If conditions allow, includes a day of fly fishing for trout and smallmouth.Evening downtime includes making lures and custom fishing rods that go home with each angler.Dinner with a Game Warden is an evening highlight.Campers stay at Cardigan Mountain School in Canaan, NH, with breakfast and dinner in the dining hall and packed lunches each day.There will be in-house nighttime staff, an on-call nurse, and dedicated transportation to and from daily fishing locations.Each instructor has a different fishing specialty.Instructors hold boating safety and operation licenses.Instructors hold first aid and CPR certifications.Please contact for more details and registration information.
